Party till it's November 4th

I have the pleasure of attending and partly hosting a party to encourage voter registration tonight. It's kinda turned into a speak out/open mike for the young, gifted and disenfranchised. I said a few thing that could probably keep me from running for office if someone was motivated to expose me but I don't think I'm that important yet. However I do think that something especially profound will come of it besides satisfying our collective need to satisfy our collective need to satisfy... well you know what I'm saying' right? Like, one of the young people who took the mike told us about a program called broken down house where people volunteer to repair houses for each other. It seems that finding creative and inspired ways to build community is the way out of the madness we are currently calling civilization. Good ideas, good people, good energy. I like it, I like it a LOT.
